I have no doubts that you know how to use Google Image Search. I hope these awesome tricks will save you some time when doing various projects.

1. If I need to decide if the website is worth my attention, I take a look at the pictures. Just type the site:yoursite.com and click “Search Images”. For example: discoverylandcamp.com
2. If I don’t know if a person is a man or a woman and the name doesn’t help, I do a Google Image Search for the name.
3. If I don’t know the meaning of a word, I don’t bother asking Wikipedia any more. The pictures will tell you. Of course, not if it is something like floccinaucinihilipilification (that means “nothing” in Latin, by the way).
4. Wanna quickly find a new wallpaper for your desktop? By restricting your search to large images, you’ll get pictures large enough to be as wallpaper.
5. For quicker and more convenient way of downloading the search results, I use GoogleGrab.
6. And I really like the cool and efficient (in my mind) idea to take an art class  just by typing the name of a painter in Image search. Take “van gogh” for example – just pretty and cheerful!

Choosing a gift for a teen does not have to be complicated. While it’s true that most teens have very particular tastes, it is also true that there are some gifts that are almost always guaranteed to be a huge hit with the teenager in your life. If you aren’t exactly sure what your teen wants, play it safe with a tried and true classic gift, such as a wad of cash. Your teen is sure to be delighted.

Music

1. Most teenagers love music, and your teen is sure to be no exception. If you know what her favorite band is, consider getting her the latest CD from that band. If you aren’t certain of her musical tastes, however, play it safe and get her a gift card to a music store or an iTunes card for her iPod instead. You could even get her an accessory for her music, such as new headphones or a docking station with speakers for her iPod.

Electronics
2. Electronics are a popular choice with almost all teenagers. Such items could include accessories for a video game console, such as wireless controllers, add-ons for a computer, iPod accessories or even an upgraded cell phone. Video games are also very popular with many teenagers. Again, if you aren’t sure what the teen in your life needs or desires, you might be better off with giving him a gift card to a local electronics store.

Special Activities

3. Consider giving your teen the gift of time instead of yet another DVD this year. Take your teenage boy out for a day of golfing topped by a steak dinner. Girls might enjoy a pedicure at a local spa, followed by lunch and a shopping spree. Or maybe your teenage daughter loves to golf. Whatever the case may by, tailor your activity to your teen’s likes. This may even include a newly released movie. Contrary to popular belief, many teenagers even enjoy taking in a movie with their parents.

Subscriptions

4. Subscriptions are something that many people don’t consider when buying for teens, but most teenagers love magazines and will appreciate getting their favorite magazine every week or every month. Teens who loves sports may cherish a subscription to Sports Illustrated, while those who are into video games can choose from a wide variety of publications. Memberships are another item that a teen might enjoy, such as a membership to a golf course, gym, or other club.

Other Items

5. There are other items that teens are sure to love as well. If your teen collects something, chances are he will enjoy another item to add to that collection. Most teens who have cars love when they get something for their car, such as a seat cover or even a gas card. Many teenagers are passionate about their hobbies, which gives you another area in which to shop. For example, if your teen plays guitar, consider getting him some sheet music, a box of picks or a new guitar strap.
