After you create a Twitter account, adding a headshot photo will help you make friends on Twitter. A simple and clear photo will help people to identify that you’re not a spammer and will make your tweets more personable. Many people are discouraged by profiles with no photo or that appear to be SPAM so try to avoid projecting such an image.

Now, begin tweeting! Adding funny anecdotes, inspirational quotes, or interesting tidbits about your life will spark people’s interest. Think about your ideal target audience and adjust your tweets accordingly. Do you want to use Twitter for business only or just for personal use?
